About The Position

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Branch Manager in our Fort Myers, FL office. NOVA provides Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection services, Facilities and Building Envelope, and Forensic Engineering to the design and construction community in the Fort Myers, Florida metropolitan statistical area (MSA). NOVA’s facilities include AASHTO-accredited laboratories in soils, concrete, aggregate and hot-mix asphalt testing/inspection. We also have CCRL-inspected laboratories for concrete sampling, curing, and testing. Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant Construction Services (CMT or Building Code) or Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading teams, projects, or business units
• Strong understanding of construction testing, inspection services, and engineering consulting
• Ability to balance technical leadership with business and people management
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred, not required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Building Official (CBO) / Building Code Administrator registration is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for Construction Materials Testing (CMT), Geotechnical Engineering, Building Code (and related Construction Services)
• Drive business development, client relationships, and regional market growth
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC on projects and reports
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry standards
• Serve as a trusted technical and business partner to clients, contractors, and municipalities
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, evaluate, and guide their performance, and assist in their professional development and growth.
• Supervise the preparation of routine proposals and quotations to clients to ensure proper scoping of services, availability of manpower, and pricing.
