About The Position

Planters Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Branch Manager for their West Monroe Branch. The primary role is to promote and maintain positive relations with customers and potential customers, open new accounts, and cross-sell other bank products. The Branch Manager will discuss and accept credit applications for walk-in and consumer loan customers. This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the branch, ensuring all operational functions are performed correctly by the staff, and fostering a sense of trust, service, security, and satisfaction among customers and staff. Responsibilities also include overseeing teller functions and customer service duties, including familiarity with IRA services and personal banking products and services. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Keyboard skills.
• Knowledge of accounting software, word processing software, spreadsheet software, email, and use of the Internet.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Check Report.

• Convey a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customers and staff.
• Oversee the teller functions and customer service duties.
• Ensure familiarity with IRA services and personal banking products and services.
