About The Position

Elements Financial is seeking a Branch Manager to lead all aspects of branch operations, sales performance, member experience, employee development, community engagement, and financial performance. This position drives results through coaching, operational leadership, networking, community involvement, business development, and partnership with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. The role involves empowering members to achieve financial success by leading a high-performing team focused on consultative service, relationship building, financial wellness, and positive member outcomes. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for driving branch growth, managing branch performance against sales goals, and developing their team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience in branch banking, financial services, sales, or retail management.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management, networking, community engagement, and achieving sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer and business banking, deposits, lending, treasury management, and relationship-based sales practices.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.
  • Experience managing branch financial performance, including Profit & Loss, budgeting, profitability, and key performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational, technology, multitasking, and follow-up skills, with the ability to execute priorities and projects effectively.
  • Ability to build trust, foster an inclusive environment, and represent Elements Financial professionally in the community.
  • Must meet NMLS registration requirements and maintain an active NMLS License ID.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Notary Public designation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of branch operations while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, security, and an exceptional member experience.
  • Maintain expertise in consumer and business banking, deposits, lending, and branch operations while coaching team members to identify opportunities, deepen relationships, and deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Resolve complex member concerns and service escalations with professionalism, sound judgment, and accountability.
  • Ensure branch standards, operational controls, compliance, fraud prevention practices, and service expectations are consistently met while actively managing risk, controlling losses, and safeguarding member and organizational assets.
  • Lead the responsible adoption of AI and emerging technology to improve branch performance, employee effectiveness, and the member experience.
  • Foster a branch culture that reflects Elements Financial core values and supports employee engagement, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Represent Elements Financial through branch events, networking, community involvement, and professional relationship building.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and referral partners.
  • Collaborate across departments and connect members to internal partners, including Mortgage, Wealth Management, Private Client, and Treasury Management.
  • Drive branch growth by acquiring new members, retaining and deepening existing relationships, and expanding market presence.
  • Build and deepen business and consumer relationships through proactive outreach, networking, outside sales calls, and community involvement while growing business deposit relationships and identifying opportunities for commercial lending, treasury management, merchant services, and other partner referrals.
  • Develop and maintain Centers of Influence, including business leaders, community partners, and referral sources.
  • Promote and refer the full suite of consumer and business financial solutions based on identified member and business needs.
  • Manage branch performance against sales goals, member growth, deposits, lending, profitability (P&L), Net Promoter Score, and member experience surveys.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financial products, services, regulations, market trends, operational practices, and leadership strategies.
  • Use technology, data, and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency, sales management, and the member experience.
  • Leverage professional networks and community relationships to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market presence.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource and problem solver for members, businesses, community partners, and team members.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to maintain expertise and strengthen leadership effectiveness.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, train, and develop team members to achieve individual, team, and branch goals.
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability for service, sales, business development, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Conduct regular sales management routines, including team huddles, performance discussions, one-on-one coaching, and development planning.
  • Provide clear direction on branch priorities, daily responsibilities, projects, and organizational initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that promotes engagement, recognition, innovation, and continuous improvement.
