About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a Branch Manager for a new branch location in Gary, IN. This role involves managing daily branch operations, actively developing customer relationships, and working with other lines of business to maximize the growth and profitability of the banking center. The Branch Manager will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management, as well as manage the sales performance of the banking center staff through coaching and development. They will also resolve escalated customer issues, perform Personal Banker duties as needed, and establish the bank's presence in the local community through networking and outbound calling efforts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous retail banking and managerial experience
• Previous business development experience and experience working with small business customers

• college degree or related banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management
• Manage the sales performance of the banking center staff by conducting coaching sessions, overseeing staff development, and addressing employee performance issues as needed
