About The Position

National Bank of Arizona is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for its Wickenburg location. The role manages the branch’s sales and service functions and requires a focus on business prospecting and developing client relationships. The preferred candidate has business knowledge of Wickenburg and neighboring communities and may be local to the area. The Branch Manager is responsible for branch performance, developing staff, growing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and exceeding customer service expectations. The position requires a flexible schedule and travel to surrounding branches in the assigned territory, including the NBAZ Phoenix Corporate Offices when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record in business development and retail banking sales success.
• Thorough understanding of bank products and services, negotiable items, correspondent relationships, new account procedures, teller procedures, accounting, and working with a diverse customer base.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to travel to surrounding branches in the assigned territory, including NBAZ Phoenix Corporate Offices when required.
• A combination of education and experience may meet the stated requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 or more years of experience in management, business development, and banking operations, or other directly related experience.
• Local knowledge or residence in Wickenburg or a neighboring Arizona community.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement external and internal sales and service programs to achieve branch goals, including business development.
• Create a strong sales and service environment that fosters teamwork with partners and other corporate departments.
• Develop branch staff, expand customer relationships, achieve sales goals, and exceed customer service expectations.
• Manage the sales and service functions within the branch.
• Maintain responsibility for overall branch performance.
