About The Position

Watertown Savings Bank - Main Office Branch Manager OBJECTIVE: To maintain and oversee all daily branch operations while ensuring required tasks are completed and customer satisfaction is achieved. Assist branch employees in all aspects of their daily tasks as necessary. Utilizes knowledge and experience in exercising discretion and independent judgment in resolving problems and answering questions.

Requirements

  • Position requires sedentary to medium physical demands.
  • Employee may exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
  • Daily movement includes, but is not limited to holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hand or hands.

Responsibilities

  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Open new accounts, CD’s, IRA’s, Checking, Savings, HSA’s, and Safe Deposit boxes.
  • Cross sell Bank products and services
  • Sell Gift Cards & Admin to set up new Users/reset passwords for employees
  • Maintain Instant Issue cards & inventory/supplies (Set up new employees/reset & unlock passwords)
  • Review Hold Notices as needed
  • Process matured CD’s/IRA’s
  • Complete IRA contributions & distributions/ Rollover Requests/ Beneficiary IRA’s
  • Operates a cash drawer when necessary
  • Set up Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, E-statements
  • Provides customer service in person as well as over the phone
  • Replies to Banno Chats to assist customers
  • Completes research on 4-sight
  • Assist, manage and cross train staff
  • Balance the CD WIP
  • Accepts, processes CDAR/ICS requests
  • Review teller differences
  • Process wire transfer requests
  • Provide Notary Public Services
  • Provide Medallion Signature Guarantee
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Staff support for Tellers & CSR’s
  • Maintains weekly schedule for Teller’s & CSR’s at both Main & Accom Office
  • Complete Annual Performance Reviews with staff (anywhere from 12-15 staff under direct supervision)
  • Prepares and distributes weekly employee schedule
  • Weekly audit of instant issue machine
  • Balances and audits gift cards quarterly
  • Completes alarm test monthly
  • Completes a random vault and teller audit semi-monthly
  • Assist the Head Teller as needed with Branch Balancing, Vault Verification, End of Day Balancing
  • Makes customer calls to establish new business
  • Prepare and Perform Employee Annual Reviews (15-17 employees)
  • On call for after hour issues with alarms, ATM’s and other situations as they arise for all Bank owned premises.
  • On call for illnesses and unexpected outages at WSB Branches that may require staffing
  • Attends community functions and meetings to familiarize areas with WSB
