About The Position

As a Branch Manager at QXO, you will lead all aspects of branch operations, driving performance across sales, service, and distribution. You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and achieving strong financial results. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about developing people, and is motivated to grow the business while strengthening QXO’s presence in the local market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3–5 years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial statements and manage budgets effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and business correspondence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (DBS experience considered an asset)
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the branch and distribution centre, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability.
  • Optimize processes to improve productivity, inventory management, and overall operational performance.
  • Drive profitable sales growth by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners while identifying opportunities to expand market share and enhance the customer experience.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Achieve branch profitability targets by driving revenue growth, improving margins, and maintaining disciplined expense control.
  • Monitor financial performance and take proactive steps to meet or exceed business objectives.
