About The Position

As a Branch Manager with Community First, you will get to provide outstanding quality service by meeting and speaking with members to identify, match and fulfill financial needs. Those needs are met through delivery of the products and services available within the policies and procedures of the credit union. You will lead deposit, lending and member service functions for the branch, ensuring duties are performed in accordance with established policies, principles and standards, and look for opportunities to provide exceptional experiences to our members. You will open and support deposit accounts for members including savings, checking, certificates, money markets, IRA, escrow, and holiday, ensuring these are performed within the policies and procedures of the credit union. You will also take loan applications, perform debt ratio/collateral analysis, obtain approval, close loans and complete files, customizing protection solutions for all applicable lending products and meeting set individual objectives for protected loans and supporting branch goals. You will continue ongoing coaching with lenders to ensure protection solutions are presented to members. Additionally, you will evaluate the work of employees, conduct performance appraisals, hire new employees and perform other related personnel functions. You will provide training and assistance to employees to ensure efficient and effective delivery of member services and assist Regional Managers in establishing and developing plans to meet or exceed branch goals. You will interact with members and resolve member complaints and concerns, and remain active in member service functions to meet member needs including teller transactions, new account transactions and lending transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in banking, business, management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of banking, member service and/or sales experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Advanced ability to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized, and follow up
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, as well as web-based software and financial services platforms
  • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members – internal and external
