About The Position

At Citizens, the Branch Manager (BM) is responsible for leading their team to exceed customer expectations and foster long-term relationships, driving customer loyalty and business growth. This role involves spearheading branch performance, sales growth, and ensuring an outstanding colleague and customer experience. The BM will create a strong customer-centric culture through inspirational leadership, collaborative partnerships, and sound operational practices. As a leader and coach, the BM helps the team achieve performance and sales goals by offering innovative solutions and showcasing digital banking platforms. A key aspect is building a diverse talent pipeline, developing colleagues, and implementing coaching plans for continuous learning and goal achievement. The BM must effectively communicate business priorities, combine financial acumen with strategic insights for decision-making, and direct sales activities to exceed targets. Additionally, the BM acts as a brand ambassador, engaging with the local community to cultivate and deepen customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Leadership experience, with proven ability to coach and develop to drive sales excellence, ensure the delivery of world-class customer service, and operational integrity in a high-volume branch environment
  • 4 years sales management experience in Retail or Branch Banking environment
  • Successful record of managing objectives in meeting sales goals, deadlines and branch goals in a profit and loss environment
  • Drive an exceptional customer experience validated through customer satisfaction surveys
  • Maintain strong partnerships with community & civic organizations
  • Successful candidate must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS
