About The Position

The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, manage equipment and fleet readiness, lead and develop the local branch team, ensure safety and compliance, and take full responsibility for the financial performance of the branch. This role requires a servant-leadership mindset and involves working alongside the branch team to set standards and foster a positive culture. The position is branch-based but may require travel for regional support and training. The manager will also support local sales staff and may work in the field during peak seasons. The role requires set schedules with 24/7 availability for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and an expected increased workload during peak seasons and weather-related emergencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, branch management, or a leadership role in HVAC, mechanical, or service-based industries.
  • Proven ability to manage scheduling and resource allocation to meet customer demands and team productivity goals.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts, and drive performance.
  • Familiarity with HVAC or mechanical equipment is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and expert multi-tasker.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational software.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving history.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.

  • Familiarity with HVAC or mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day branch activities, including working closely with the Client Experience Team for dispatch schedules and coordinating service calls to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage branch equipment and fleet (both equipment and vehicles), ensuring everything is properly maintained, job-ready, and available when needed.
  • Hire, train, and develop the local branch team with a servant-leadership mindset.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and leading weekly safety training.
  • Take full responsibility for the financial performance of the branch.
  • Manage local vendor relationships and purchase orders.
  • Oversee equipment transfers, ensure inventory accuracy, and issue and receive POs on the company’s behalf.
  • Maintain a financially and operationally sound branch at all times.
  • Support the local sales staff as an additional leader in the market to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
  • Work alongside the team in the field during peak season to ensure customer demands are met and schedules are kept.
  • Be available for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and step in to get the job done when necessary.
