Branch Manager - Construction Services & Geotechnical Engineering
About The Position
Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Branch Manager to join their Professional Services Industries Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team in Nashville, TN. This role offers a career growth opportunity within the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited engineering/ABET school.
- 5+ years of leadership, management, and/or project management experience.
- P.E. Registration is required, OR the ability to obtain within six months.
- Must be customer-focused and quality-driven.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal and written communication.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- ICC, NICET and/or ACI Certifications are a plus.
- P&L and basic accounting experience is preferred.
- Sales, marketing, and client management experience preferred.
- Prior personnel management, hiring, and training experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operational management of the branch office, including construction materials testing/inspection, concrete, soils, and related lab and field testing, as well as geotechnical related lab and field testing.
- Business development activities, including scope of work development, estimating, and proposal preparation.
- Development and implementation of construction quality control programs.
- Profit and Loss responsibilities.
- AR responsibility.
- Recruitment, development, and mentoring of professional, technical, and administrative personnel.
