About The Position

Naturescape is seeking to hire a Branch Manager in St. Louis, MO to lead a developing branch to continued growth and success. This is a long-term career opportunity in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business where you will be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. The role involves strategically dividing time between maximizing branch production, increasing sales, and developing employees. Responsibilities include leading weekly team meetings on technical information, sales strategies, and service methods, providing individual training and guidance to specialists, interviewing and hiring new staff, and directing administrative assistants to ensure excellent customer service and efficient office operations. The manager will also focus on optimizing specialist routes, utilizing data for strategic planning, and ensuring services remain on schedule. Additionally, the role may involve direct customer contact to resolve concerns, auditing specialist work, performing services for customers, and regularly assessing branch needs to make optimal decisions for employees and customers.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Motivated with a desire to learn
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a developing branch to continued growth and success.
  • Strategically divide time between maximizing branch production, increasing sales, and developing employees.
  • Meet with branch employees weekly to review technical information, sales strategies, and service methods.
  • Spend time with specialists individually, training and guiding them to excellence.
  • Interview and hire new specialists to keep the branch fully staffed.
  • Actively guide and direct administrative assistants, ensuring they offer customers the highest level of service and education.
  • Help specialists maintain efficient routes and use data to strategize and optimize specialist time.
  • Keep the office organized and running efficiently.
  • Contact customers to help resolve concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Audit the work of specialists.
  • Meet with customers to discuss concerns.
  • Perform services for customers.
  • Regularly assess the needs of the branch, taking initiative to make the best choice for employees and customers.
