About The Position

Tejas Equipment Rentals is a growing, family-owned equipment rental company with 8 branches across Texas. We're looking for the right person to learn the business from the inside and step into the leadership seat. This isn't a desk job. You'll train side-by-side with our current Branch Manager and leadership team, learning every part of branch operations - rentals, fleet, customer relationships, P&L, and leading a team - with a clear path to running the branch yourself.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience or clear leadership potential - you've led a crew, a shift, or a team, or you're ready to
  • A Get 'Er Done attitude - you take ownership and follow through
  • Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers alike
  • Comfortable with technology (POR, Repmove, Slack, Email)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Background in equipment rental, construction, heavy equipment, industrial sales, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day branch operations: counter sales, rental contracts, dispatch, and logistics
  • Fleet management: equipment availability, maintenance coordination, and utilization
  • Building and keeping strong customer relationships in the local market
  • Branch financials: revenue goals, expense control, and reading a P&L
  • Hiring, coaching, and leading a branch team
  • Safety and compliance standards that keep our people and customers protected
