About The Position

The Branch Manager II plans and manages the branch operations to ensure efficient and profitable parts and service. The role provides effective customer relation activities designed to enhance continuing services use by customers.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field
  • 5+ years of service industry experience
  • 7+ years of service industry experience (Assoc. Degree)
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Equivalent combinations of the above experience may be considered
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and drive routinely and regularly
  • Must have PC experience and be competent with Windows Office, especially Excel, Word and MS Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Service and Parts department operations to ensure timely, professional, and value-based customer support
  • Ensure prompt response to customer needs to minimize equipment downtime and maintain clear communication on service and parts status
  • Manage Planned Maintenance, Guaranteed Maintenance, and On-site maintenance programs
  • Ensure 24/7 customer support availability including emergency response
  • Oversee consignment parts inventory for service vehicles and customer locations
  • Ensure accurate quotations for service work and support Product Support Sales Representatives and external customers
  • Manage vendor-requested repairs and assist customers with scheduling to ensure positive service experiences
  • Coordinate OEM technical support communications when required to resolve complex equipment issues
  • Manage the Profit and Loss statement for assigned operations including sales performance, pricing, expense control, staffing, and resource scheduling
  • Oversee work order administration and billing processes to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and minimize work in process
  • Manage company assets including facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tooling to maximize return on capital
  • Coordinate with the Credit Department to verify customer creditworthiness and administer COD transactions
  • Review financial and operational reports to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments
  • Plan facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and operational expansion while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain qualified employees for service and parts operations
  • Provide performance management including coaching, career planning, training recommendations, and performance reviews
  • Enforce company policies related to safety, conduct, and workplace standards
  • Maintain a professional and positive workplace culture
  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary actions and separations when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements including inspections, hazardous waste management, and environmental controls
  • Promote workplace safety through training, toolbox talks, accident reporting, and workers’ compensation management
  • Ensure completion of safety training and required drug testing programs
  • Participate in divisional planning and collaborate with Product Support leadership to improve operational performance and profitability
  • Develop and monitor annual parts and service budgets to ensure effective resource utilization
  • Conduct customer visits and participate in regional and divisional meetings to support business growth and service initiatives
