About The Position

Team Worldwide is seeking a Branch Manager for its IAH location in Houston, TX. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and requires travel. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales and operational teams, ensuring the branch operates as "best of class," maintaining a safe and professional work environment, overseeing accounts receivable collections, achieving key performance indicators, managing cartage operations, and building branch profitability.

Requirements

Minimum freight forwarding experience of 5 to 7 years.
Background in managing branch operations, including P&L responsibility.
International air and ocean background, along with domestic freight forwarding experience.
Experience working for an agency/franchise freight forwarding model.

Responsibilities

Achieve a gross revenue base averaging at least $1,000,000 of gross revenue per month of profitable business.
Diversify products including air, ocean, domestic, imports, exports, and warehousing.
Meet or exceed acceptable margins based on the product portfolio.
Assist in managing and coaching a productive sales team of at least three logistics sales representatives.
Manage, train, and coach an operational and customer service team, ensuring all employees are trained in TeamNAV.
Provide pro-active communication (internal & external) and ensure accountability to Team’s policy and procedures.
Ensure departments operate as ONE cohesive unit.
Operate the IAH branch as “best of class”.
Ensure a clean, properly organized, safe, healthy, and professional and Team branded facility for all personnel.
Ensure proper accounts receivable collections procedures are adhered to, with a goal of less than 10% open A/R greater than 90 days.
Drive key performance indicators to 95% of goal through a collaborative approach with all employees.
Manage and operate cartage operations for both local and network business.
Determine the best use of resources in collaboration with Team Transportation.
Build and maintain branch profitability.
