About The Position

Accountable for overall management of the Branch ensuring that high levels of member service are maintained by all employees. Supervises, mentors and coaches employees to ensure that sales objectives are met and extraordinary member service is achieved. Responsible for the overall productivity and operational effectiveness of the Branch.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and 3 years related financial services experience or 8-10 years of financial services experience required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of demonstrated management experience in a financial services environment.
  • NMLS license required

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight and direction to staff including hiring; communicating expectations; planning, monitoring and evaluating performance; coaching, counseling, and developing employees; recommending compensation actions, and coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Directs the Branch sales efforts taking appropriate action to achieve budgeted sales goals and production objectives.
  • Provides appropriate referrals (wealth, mortgage, business services, etc.) when identified.
  • Provides sales and service coaching to all direct reports.
  • Conducts and maintains member relations activities, including the resolution of any complaints.
  • Identifies opportunities to up sell and/or cross sell loans and other products and fee based services.
  • Counsels members on various financial services and products.
  • Responsible for accurate opening, servicing and onboarding of business accounts.
  • Stays current on business account processes and procedures.
  • Supports Relationship Managers in engagement of both new and existing business members.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing SEGs to drive consumer growth.
  • Represents FMFCU in various Sponsor locations and partner functions to enhance image and develop additional business.
  • Maintains a strong presence in the community by supporting and volunteering with local organizations.
  • Maximizes member satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service is being provided throughout the branch.
  • Is responsible for setting and monitoring quality standards in the service area and developing a team atmosphere.
  • Ensures that in-branch greeting program is in place to ensure positive member experiences and support adoption of member facing technologies.
  • Possesses an advanced understanding of digital service solutions to support member adoption of FMFCU online/mobile banking.
  • Exercises discretion regarding member accounts, loans, etc.
  • Makes exception decisions regarding approval, denial or fee reversal.
  • Prepares and maintains annual budget and reviews variance reports.
  • Implements and maintains established security and audit procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for oversight and settlement of all in-branch technology, vault, and negotiable instruments as it relates to the office function.
  • Obtains Medallion Stamp certification and participates in and oversees notary program.
  • Travels to other branch locations on occasion.
  • Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.
