About The Position

SRS Distribution, a subsidiary of The Home Depot, is offering a 10-12 week internship program starting Summer 2026. This full-time, 40 hours/week, paid internship ($19/hr) provides a comprehensive understanding of distribution center operations, customer service, and sales functions. Interns will receive hands-on training in warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, inside sales, and outside sales shadowing. A key component of the internship is completing and presenting a high-impact business project at the corporate headquarters. Biweekly coaching sessions are provided to support intern development. Strong performance may lead to an invitation to join the Management Trainee Program post-graduation. The internship is available at branch locations across multiple states, including California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business Management, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Current Juniors with plans to graduate between December 2026 and May 2027.
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and work ethic through previous jobs or extracurricular activities.
  • Personable, driven, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US.
  • Must pass criminal and driving background check with a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Gain immersive, hands-on training in distribution operations, sales, and leadership.
  • Take on a high-impact project and present insights to senior leadership teams.
  • Receive training in receiving and moving products in the warehouse.
  • Learn about loading trucks and handling dispatch & delivery logistics.
  • Gain experience in customer service, order entry, and inside sales.
  • Shadow a Territory Manager for outside sales experience.
  • Complete and present a high-impact business project at corporate headquarters.
  • Participate in biweekly coaching sessions.
