Sales support duties include preparation of sales orders, data entry, updating displays and stocking literature, re-ordering and stocking showroom products, and handling cash/credit sales transactions. Telephone sales support includes answering customer questions, taking orders, giving directions, call routing and message taking. Clerical responsibilities include filing, preparing, and sorting mail. In addition, this position requires some work outside in the warehouse, occasional weekend shifts, as well as inventory responsibilities and other projects and duties as assigned. On the job training will be provided to all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced Branch team.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities is essential.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Strong mathematical skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Similar work experience.
  • Experience in the building materials industry.
  • Previous experience with masonry products.
  • Previous experience with construction practices.
  • Forklift experience.

Responsibilities
