About The Position

Armor is looking for experienced Brake Press Set-Up/Operators to join their manufacturing team. This role involves independently setting up and operating metal-forming and cutting equipment, producing parts to exact measurements, reducing scrap, and helping teammates build their skills. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safe operations, and dependable results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to set up brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses without assistance.
• A consistent focus on accuracy, detail, reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Ability to clearly train and support other employees.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of shear and press experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Amada equipment and Fanuc controls a plus!

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses independently.
• Press and cut metal accurately to required measurements and specifications.
• Inspect work for quality while minimizing scrap and material waste.
• Follow safe, efficient work practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Train and educate employees on brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses.
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel, project managers, and the area supervisor.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the manager.
