About The Position

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for retrieving tooling, setting tooling, programming the machine, and operating the machine. The operator will use blueprint specifications to accurately make test parts, inspect, make adjustments, and Green tag parts. They will also verify product quality using inspection and measuring equipment. This role requires proficiency in safety and environmental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to accurately read and use quality tools. The operator will also use a computer to enter part information/inventory in the ERP system, perform basic preventative maintenance and repair, and set up light barriers for safety. Execution of the scheduling board and ability to use a motorized walking stacker are also key functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to operate cranes, overhead hoists
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills
• Proficient communication skills
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts
• Compare parts to blueprint to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality
• Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled
