About The Position
NIC Global is seeking a Brake Operator for their night shift. This role involves operating a press brake and CNC machine for simple setups, loading and unloading tools, and performing routine maintenance. The operator will also be responsible for secondary operations during production and verifying quality using measurement instruments. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, basic math knowledge, and understanding of basic computer PCs. The job description may be updated based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
- Basic math knowledge.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Understanding of basic computer PC.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Operates press brake and machine control (CNC) for simple routine setups.
- Loads and unloads tools.
- Operates the machine control.
- Responsible for routine maintenance of machine, and secondary operations during production.
- Must be able to verify quality using measurement instruments (calipers, protractors, etc.).
