About The Position
Brake & Alignment Technicians service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. They provide excellent customer service and complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab provides on-the-job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install or service hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
- Test and install batteries.
- Dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
- Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Assist other employees.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
