About The Position

Brake & Alignment Technicians service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. They provide excellent customer service and complete work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians. The listed pay range is $14.85–$24.50. Benefits for full-time positions are available after eligibility criteria are met and are governed by plan documents and company policy; benefits may change at any time. Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, and kneel, and continuously squat, reach, walk, and stand.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
