We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging part-time instructor to teach neuroscience using Brain Facts as the primary textbook and prepare high school students for the Brain Bee competition. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in neuroscience, biology, psychology, cognitive science, medicine, or a related field. Candidates should be familiar with the Brain Bee competition structure, subject areas, and common question formats. They must be able to guide students through both foundational neuroscience coursework and competition-specific preparation. This position goes beyond general science tutoring. The instructor will be responsible for developing a structured preparation plan, teaching the required neuroscience content, introducing students to Brain Bee question formats, and conducting targeted practice sessions and mock competitions.
