BPC/SAC Planning Sr. Analyst - Accounting and Finance
About The Position
Toyota’s Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Analyst specializing in BPC Planning with experience in SAC. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide production and enhancement support for Finance systems supporting the Accounting & Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Accounting System and Technology Manager, the person in this role will support the FAST department's objective to deliver key finance systems initiatives and strategic technology objectives. The position partners closely with business stakeholders to bridge the gap between Finance and Information Systems, ensuring the successful design, enhancement, and support of financial systems. In addition, the role provides ongoing operational support, SOX compliance oversight, change management leadership, and business consulting services to drive process efficiency and business value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience supporting Finance and Accounting systems, including SAP BPC Planning, and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and/or SAP solutions.
- 8+ years’ experience with financial reporting, planning, consolidation, and close processes.
- Prior experience gathering business requirements, testing system enhancements, and supporting project delivery.
- Working knowledge of SOX controls, governance, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to partner effectively across business and technical teams.
Nice To Haves
- CPA, MBA, or related professional certification.
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting and S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects or finance transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems teams to deliver scalable solutions supporting financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP BPC Planning, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and related finance technologies.
- Lead system enhancements by defining requirements, coordinating testing, and supporting successful implementations
- Provide advanced production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, change management standards, and audit requirements
