Activities Coach - Boys Volleyball
About The Position
Mountain View Whisman School District middle schools are seeking an Activities Coach for an after-school boys’ volleyball sports program at Graham Middle School. The season runs from December 7, 2026, through February 4, 2027, with possible extended play depending on the championship level. The stipend is $2,000, plus an additional $50 per playoff game depending on season length and championship level. Stipends are split for shared coaching positions. Three positions are available. Applicants must hold the certifications required under Title V, C.C.R. Sections 5593 and 5594 before the season begins. Before assuming individual coaching duties, the coach must complete a current TB examination, Mandated Child Abuse Reporter training, First Aid and CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and the specified NFHS coaching and safety courses.
Requirements
- Certification under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594 before the beginning of the season.
- Current TB examination.
- Mandated Child Abuse Reporter training.
- First Aid and CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification.
- NFHS Concussion in Sports certification.
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification.
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention certification.
