About The Position
This posting is for a Boys Varsity Cross Country - Assistant Coach position within the Irondequoit High School Athletic Department. The role requires adherence to NYS Coaching Certification Requirements and specific certifications in First-Aid, CPR/AED, Child Abuse, SAVE, and DASA training. NYSED Fingerprint Clearance is also mandatory. The position is compensated via a stipend based on the WITA Coaches' Salary Schedule.
Requirements
- NYS Coaching Certification Requirements
- Certification in First-Aid: Responding to Emergencies
- Certification in Adult and Child CPR/AED
- Completion of Child Abuse Workshop
- Completion of SAVE Workshop
- Completion of DASA Training
- NYSED Fingerprint Clearance
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the Boys Varsity Cross Country team.
- Ensure all athletes meet NYS Coaching Certification Requirements.
- Maintain required certifications including First-Aid, CPR/AED, Child Abuse, SAVE, and DASA training.
- Ensure all athletes have NYSED Fingerprint Clearance.
