Boys Soccer Assistant Coach - Stevens Middle School
About The Position
This position is for a Boys Soccer Assistant Coach at Stevens Middle School within Pasco School District. The role involves assisting in the coaching and development of student athletes, adhering to district and WIAA regulations, and contributing to the overall program. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening. The position requires adherence to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines. The coach will mentor other coaches within the program, coordinate out-of-season camps and clinics, and attend required training, including concussion management and other sessions necessary for maintaining coaching eligibility.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Mentor coaches within the program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
