About The Position
South River Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Boy's Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026/2027 school year. The season runs from November 30, 2026, to February 26, 2027. This position is eligible for the grant-funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21stCCLC) Program, pending grant approval, which may involve academic programming scheduled before the extracurricular activity.
Requirements
- Must hold a NJ Teaching Certification or a valid NJ Substitute Certificate.
- Must be CPR Certified.
- Must have wrestling experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the middle school boys' wrestling team.
- Support the head coach in all aspects of team management and development.
- Potentially engage in academic programming as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21stCCLC) Program.
