About The Position

This is a supplemental position for a Boys Basketball Head Coach at Northeast High School. The role involves coaching the basketball team and imparting knowledge of the sport to participants. The position is temporary and non-exempt.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Applicants must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
• Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
• Knowledge of the activity and the ability to impart this knowledge to the participants.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Head Coach for the Boys Basketball team.
• Impart knowledge of the sport to participants.
• Fulfill responsibilities as an Assistant Coach, which include having knowledge of the activity and the ability to impart this knowledge to participants.
• Utilize computer skills as required for the position.
