About The Position

The Boxmaker is responsible for supporting product safety and quality while handling finished products. Duties include stacking, scanning, and wrapping products; checking the metal detection system; assigning and tracking product lanes; and helping place finished products into inventory and onto trucks. The employee must maintain a clean and safe work area and follow applicable safety rules and procedures. The role may also include other job-related duties assigned by a supervisor. • Follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality while performing assigned duties.
• Stack finished product onto skids.
• Scan all finished product.
• Operate the automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product.
• Test the metal detection system to ensure it is working properly.
• Assign and track lanes for all product.
• Report food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area; perform sweeping, cleaning, and sorting as necessary.
• Become fork truck certified.
• Receive training to put finished product into inventory and place it on trucks.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties requested by a supervisor.
