About The Position
Planet Aid is a mission-driven organization focused on collecting and recycling used textiles to protect the environment and support sustainable development globally. This role involves operating a box truck (up to 20 ft.) to efficiently collect and transport donated textiles, ensuring safe delivery and environmental protection.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of box truck or similar driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and DOT physical
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and working outdoor
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks on assigned local routes
- Service donation bins (collect, clean, and maintain sites)
- Load and transport donated materials to designated locations
- Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Communicate any route, site, or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily routes
