About The Position

Crown Health Care Laundry is hiring a full-time Box Truck Driver in Athens, Georgia, at Piedmont Athens Hospital. The driver delivers and picks up linen daily on assigned routes. Drivers are home every day and work a five-day work week. Shifts may vary; this position is identified as a first-shift position. Some administrative work is also required. A regular driver’s license is sufficient, though a Class B license is preferred. Experience operating a straight truck is required. The role involves heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Requirements

• Experience operating a straight truck.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• A current Department of Transportation physical.
• A clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Stable work history.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions on the fly.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• A regular driver’s license; a Class B license is preferred.
