The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional driving experience operating box trucks (16 ft or larger preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
- Acceptable driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to effectively use maps, GPS, and navigation tools for route management
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach
- Ability to safely operate a 16 ft refrigerated box truck
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 16 ft refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of fresh flowers and related floral products to customers
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational readiness
- Follow assigned routes and use maps or GPS/navigation tools to optimize efficiency
- Partner with warehouse team members to ensure order accuracy
- Work efficiently in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F)
- Safely use equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and RF scanners
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations
