Requirements

  • Must be DOT compliant
  • 2 years verifiable of previous Box Truck driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
  • Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist with or without assistance
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a Box Truck.
  • Complete assigned delivery routes out of Lakewood and Auburn.
  • Safely drive a Box Truck or equivalent-size vehicle to local construction sites and other delivery locations.
  • Manually load and unload windows, patio doors, and other products at delivery locations.
  • Address customer questions, issues, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Represent the company professionally through both actions and personal appearance.
  • Accurately and legibly complete all delivery and return documentation.
  • Maintain required driver logs and conduct vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle and equipment in a clean, neat, and organized condition.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
  • Assist other team members with loading and unloading as needed.
  • Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and complete required reports and records in accordance with DOT Regulation 391.11.
