About The Position

Fenix Parts is hiring a Box Truck Delivery Driver to deliver recycled OEM automotive parts to customers. The role involves home-daily routes, planning schedules around customer needs, safely loading and unloading parts, and inspecting the assigned box truck before and after trips. Drivers interact directly with customers, deliver parts accurately, collect payments, present bills and receipts, assist customers as needed, and complete route paperwork. The schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Fenix Parts is a nationwide company with more than 35 locations and over 100 years of combined industry experience.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional driving experience operating 20-foot box trucks or similar vehicles.
A safe driving record, with no more than 1 accident and no more than 2 moving violations on the motor vehicle record within the past 3 years.
Ability to lift 75 pounds throughout the day and handle high-volume physical activity while loading and unloading automotive parts.
Ability to identify various automotive parts.
Proficiency using PCs, tablets, and smartphone mobile apps.
A valid driver's license with no major restrictions.

Responsibilities

Manage home-daily delivery routes and plan daily schedules based on customer needs.
Safely load and unload automotive parts, follow safety protocols, and prevent freight damage.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned box truck.
Deliver parts accurately and collect payments.
Present bills and receipts professionally and assist customers with needs that arise.
Complete and submit required paperwork neatly and accurately at the end of each route.
