Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to operate a two-wheel dolly and maneuver products and down delivery ramps.
Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Must complete and pass a DOT drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

Previous route delivery experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 26ft refrigerated delivery truck and other company vehicles as needed.
Deliver foodservice products to customer locations using a two-wheel dolly.
Complete routes averaging 400 to 550 cases per day.
Service consists of approximately 6 to 12 customers per route.
Provide exceptional customer service while representing RDP Foodservice professionally.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and route records.
Utilize company technology and delivery systems as required.
Maintain proper temperature controls and food safety standards.
Pick up inbound freight and complete scheduled backhauls when assigned.
Communicate effectively with transportation management regarding route issues, delays, or customer concerns.
Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
