Requirements

Basic ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble box spring units by positioning wood frames, steel grids, covers, and insulation pads on assembly tables.
Place and secure insulation pads ("Syfy") over steel grid components.
Attach internal corner guards to wood frame corners using staple guns and hand tools.
Properly position and secure borders, covers, dust covers, and corner guards to completed box spring units.
Operate production equipment and use approximately 80 staples per unit to ensure quality assembly standards.
Move completed box spring units to conveyors by sliding or lifting materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
Maintain production quality, efficiency, and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Move carts of box spring units and replenish materials and component racks as needed.
Support team production goals and assist with other duties as assigned.
