About The Position

The Box Office Attendant is responsible for assisting guests with all ticketing needs, including purchasing tickets and distributing pre-arranged tickets through will call. This role serves as a key point of contact for patrons and contributes to a positive and welcoming guest experience. In addition to ticketing transactions the Box Office Attendant provides general information about Desert Diamond Arena including event details, schedules and venue policies.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash or other payment methods
  • Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have an understanding or have the ability to learn basic computer skills and Desert Diamond Arena’s Ticketing Platform
  • Must also have the ability to work varied shifts with can include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service or live event/entertainment ticketing space preferred but is not required

Responsibilities

  • Service Guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist guests with ticket purchases
  • Accurate distribution of will call tickets to guests for various events
  • Assist guests with general information regarding Desert Diamond Arena
  • Accurately reconcile all sales and will call receipts
  • Interact in a professional manner when dealing with other building staff, clients, guests, supervisors and corporate staff
