About The Position

This position is responsible for labeling boxes and operating the case erectors located on the box maker mezzanine. The team member will utilize a PC to print box labels, label box flats for production, configure case erector machines for production runs, and be responsible for loading and clearing the case erector of jams. Other duties include working as directed by a supervisor. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, operational process, and strong math skills, as well as strong communication skills. The work environment is inside a facility that can be noisy, have wet floors, adequate lighting, moving objects, and mechanical and electrical hazards. Temperatures can be cold at times (at or below 50 degrees Fahrenheit) with adequate lighting and ventilation. Sanitizing solutions will be present in water and hand sanitizers. Days per week and hours per day will vary.

Requirements

• 3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years)
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
