About The Position

Richemont, a global leader in the luxury sector, is seeking a Boutique Director for its Chloé brand. The Boutique Director is the primary ambassador of the Maison, responsible for welcoming guests and leading their boutique's business. This role involves championing clients, driving omnichannel sales, leading a team, and ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of retail management experience with a specific focus on concession business management.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail.
  • Operationally strong, able to translate strategies into operational plans.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills, and sales skills.
  • Team player with good interpersonal competences and empathy.
  • Excellent communicator who is passionate about building relationships and networking, with strong social skills.
  • Ability to positively lead, coach, and develop talents/team members from different backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Strong sense for client satisfaction, luxury experience, etiquette, and human behavior.
  • Ability to work open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 20lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to initiate and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Set and monitor CRM targets for the boutique and individual stylists, implementing actions to achieve them.
  • Coordinate contact campaigns and supervise the use of CRM tools.
  • Supervise the client database, with a focus on identifying and nurturing VIC (Very Important Client) relationships.
  • Proactively propose activities to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Lead by example and supervise sales on the floor to enhance business performance and customer service.
  • Ensure the team is fully engaged with the omnichannel services offered by the Maison.
  • Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly action plans to improve business in line with Maison strategy, adjusting based on performance analysis.
  • Set and monitor retail targets for the boutique and individual stylists.
  • Actively participate in commercial activities and propose new ideas to improve business.
  • Stay informed about the local trading environment and competitor activities.
  • Organize and conduct energizing team briefings, ensuring consistently high levels of motivation.
  • Perform individual monthly and yearly performance assessments with all team members.
  • Shadow sales on the floor to coach the team, identify training needs, implement training, and lead individual development plans with consistent follow-up.
  • Lead the recruitment and induction of the team, ensuring successful coordination with the HR department.
  • Lead by example, foster good team spirit, and embody Chloé's values of entrepreneurship, togetherness, excellence, creativity, and positive impact.
  • Actively participate in the Store Managers community, sharing best practices and providing/receiving support.
  • Supervise the maintenance of an impeccable boutique environment.
  • Proactively liaise with operations or retail managers for repairs or to suggest improvements in operations, processes, or the boutique environment.
  • Ensure the implementation of all guidelines related to store and back-of-house management, and sustainability.
  • Manage payroll, expenses, and stock.
  • Oversee compliance with established Richemont policies and standards.
