About The Position

The primary focus of the Polisher is to assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of various items. He/she is responsible for operating and maintaining clean equipment and tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar role and knowledge of basic food hygiene.
• Ability to communicate in the English language.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of basic food handling policies and procedures as well as the techniques and equipment for preparing and presenting food products for consumption, including storage/handling techniques, proper chemical handling, and sanitation standards.

Nice To Haves

• Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room.
• Restocks dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and maintains adequate supplies in the work stations.
• Fold napkins and extra place settings.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Stock shelves, racks and service stations with new or transferred supplies.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Always practice proper food handling procedures, cleaning and storage of containers, use of cleaning chemicals & PPEs.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
