About The Position

Cosha Staffing is seeking several full-time Boring Mill Operators to run the Cincinnati Boring Mill, which is equipped with a Fanuc IO controller. This role typically involves working 50-55 hours per week, including Saturdays as a standard part of the schedule. The position is located in Sterling Heights, MI.

Requirements

Familiarity with Fanuc Control systems.
Ability to set up parts in the machine.
Familiarity with setting tools in the machine.
Ability to convert inch-metric measurements.
Ability to read prints.
Ability to hold tolerances listed on prints.
Ability to identify tools required to make parts.
Familiarity with reading measuring equipment (e.g., Verniers).
Familiarity with setting parts with angled surfaces.
Ability to load programs.
Ability to run parts from start to finish.
Familiarity with making minor edits to programs (e.g., changing a tool number to match the programmer's tool list).

Responsibilities

Running the Cincinnati Boring Mill with a Fanuc IO controller.
Setting up parts in the machine.
Setting tools in the machine.
Converting inch-metric measurements.
Reading and interpreting blueprints.
Holding tolerances specified on prints.
Identifying the correct tools required for part production.
Setting up parts with angled surfaces.
Loading programs into the machine.
Operating the machine from start to finish for part production.
Making minor edits to programs, such as changing tool numbers to match the tool list.
