About The Position

The Boom Truck Operator operates a boom truck to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for completing assigned duties properly and efficiently and operating the vehicle in accordance with company policy. The position includes loading and unloading tanks, maintaining the vehicle and equipment, completing safety inspections and service checks, and submitting required paperwork.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens under FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
• Operate trucks safely according to company policies and state and federal laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and/or facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in accordance with established company protocols.
