Boom Truck Crane Operator
About The Position
For over 40 years, Empire Roofing Corporation has built a reputation for quality, safety, and teamwork. We are seeking an experienced Boom Crane Operator. If you are a motivated leader with hands-on experience in roofing or construction, this is your opportunity to grow with a stable, industry-leading company. The mobile boom truck operator is responsible for the distribution, loading, and offloading of our project materials, equipment, and tools. The job involves operating a stand-up crane with a boom stick that extends up to 92 ft. The ideal candidate must be certified and have experience operating a boom truck or crane.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience as a crane operator
- Boom Truck / Crane operator licenses 20-tonne capacity
- Knowledgeable of weight restrictions, operations of crane, and loading/offloading of materials & equipment
- Available for full-time and flexible hours of work
- Weight handling up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
- Experience working as part of a team, as you will help on-site
- Experience working in the roofing or construction industry
- Effective and positive communication with customers is key. Professionally interact with them to ensure a positive experience and leave a lasting impression

Responsibilities
- Site mobilizations; setup of equipment, load materials, load tools, and safety equipment
- Site demobilization: offload materials and return to the shop, offload equipment & tools
- Maintaining the crane and its proper safety checks, inspectors, and maintenance
