The Bookkeeper at Cat Island Club will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable and Account Receivable along with Member Accounts and collection procedures. This role involves maintaining a professional manner and appearance, creating a warm, inviting, pleasant environment for all members and guests, and assisting the General Manager with daily accounting reports, closings, and deposits. The Bookkeeper will also manage all club invoices for Accounts Payable, handle Member Billing, and maintain Account Receivable reports. Additionally, they will assist the Director of Membership with administrative needs such as membership applications, welcome letters, and orientation processes. The position includes welcoming on-site guests, providing information and directions, announcing guests to appropriate personnel, and monitoring building access. Other duties include distributing birthday, anniversary, and specialized cards for members and participating in select member events to assist the team and build rapport with the membership.
