About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports to support decision-making. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor payments.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification of income and expenses.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial statements and reports for management.
  • Support external auditors with documentation and schedules as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain organized financial files and records for easy access and audit readiness.
