Requirements
- 2+ years of office or administrative experience
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred
- QuickBooks Online, basic computer skills, and Google Suite experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Handle financial data, invoices, payments, and account balances carefully and consistently.
- Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly routines while keeping financial records current.
- Bring beginner-to-intermediate QuickBooks Online knowledge, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Google Suite.
- Handle sensitive financial information with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Communicate purposefully, support changing priorities, and contribute to Rosewood's Christ-centered culture of humble excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create customer invoices and accurately record incoming payments.
- Process vendor bills and payments, keeping financial records accurate and current.
- Balance the books at the end of each month and support month-end financial reviews.
- Follow up on overdue accounts by preparing monthly statements and sending payment requests.
- Maintain completed project folders, enter customer project data, and keep supporting records organized.
- Provide client and vendor account information to team members and assist with occasional administrative needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve bookkeeping workflows and day-to-day productivity.
- Grow into additional responsibilities, including filing quarterly tax forms and managing end-of-month reviews.
