About The Position

Aspen Contracting is looking for a Bookkeeper with strong reporting and analytical skills to support our accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who not only maintains financial records accurately but can also analyze data, build reports, and support internal financial insights.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting processes (AP/AR, reconciliations, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage financial records and ensure accuracy across multiple systems
  • Advanced data entry and high attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience with Excel and financial tracking tools (Excel required)
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data into meaningful reporting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Can balance transactional work and reporting responsibilities
  • Is confident working with numbers and data
  • Takes initiative and stays ahead of tasks

Responsibilities

  • Record and manage day-to-day financial transactions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and track cash accounts
  • Initiate ACH/WIRE transactions
  • Create and audit financial and profitability reports
  • Maintain accurate documentation across financial systems
  • Support reporting and internal financial tracking
