About The Position

Hanzo is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and dependable Education Booking Specialist to join its education team. The specialist makes outbound calls to hair salons across the United States to schedule professional haircutting and styling education classes with nationally recognized educators. The role involves introducing education opportunities to salon owners and managers, securing class bookings, and helping fill traveling educators’ schedules.

This is a part-time hybrid position scheduled Tuesday through Friday. Employees work in the office one or two days per week and remotely on the remaining days. Compensation starts at the applicable minimum wage, with a $20 bonus for each class successfully booked and completed and the opportunity to increase earnings based on booking performance.

Requirements

• Be friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking on the phone.
• Have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Be self-motivated and dependable.
• Be comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection.
• Be able to work independently from home.

Nice To Haves

• Sales, customer service, or appointment-setting experience.
• Knowledge of the beauty or salon industry.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to salons throughout the United States.
• Speak with salon owners and managers about hosting education classes.
• Explain education programs and available class dates.
• Schedule and confirm classes with interested salons.
• Follow up with potential hosts to secure bookings.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, contacts, and scheduled classes.
• Work with the education team to fill educators’ schedules.
